Biography

Maryorys Horta is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with over 18 years of experience in the medical field as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

She received her medical degree at the Faculty of Medical Sciences Ciego de Avila, Cuba, in 1996. She subsequently completed specialized training in Family Medicine at the same Faculty of Medical Sciences Ciego de Avila, Cuba, in 2008.

In addition to her medical training, Maryorys Horta has a bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from Miami Regional University in 2018 and a master's degree in Advanced Nursing Practice in 2021.

She believes strong communication is the key to building relationships with her patients. She is very attentive to individual concerns and actively encourages patients to ask questions, learn about their medical needs and understand their treatment plans.
